"Who invited them?”
First one (last week’s assignment): I really wished I had read the instruction a second time; I would have realized that I was only supposed to animate the box opening itself, not opening and rotated… perhaps I would have done a better job.
I honestly had no idea where I what I wanted to do with it.
Second one (this week’s assignment): Firstly, I could have made the character “bounce” a right after it punches and gets into that still position.
Another thing that bothers me is how I can’t feel the punch; if it hadn’t been for the way the right hands clenches into a fist, the action would almost have been mistaken for a throw rather than a punch.
Also, I should have animated the object getting punched as well as adding some effects to the ground, making it look like it would be shaking, adding effect to the collision between the fist and the invisible object… and I should have held the key frame where the fist makes contact if it hadn’t been for that smear I crammed in there for who-knows-what-reason.
For Susan at Bunny Kingdom~!
Some doodles I did today between classes.
"That’s a long way down…”
Falling, falling… oh, she’s frozen stuck!
Ahem, my part of an art trade with Atroxchobatsu.
His lovely character, Sarah N. Dippity who seems to have discovered some kind of sugar coated land and is about to fall off that cliff while deep in thought (Her ability to defy gravity seems to have come in handy here, though!). I hope you like it, Javier!
His part of the trade; an absolute cake pop of an illustration of my ToonTown character, Sundae!
